Hi Lynn,
Welcome to the MPV forums!
There's a few ways to record the click track. Here's one "real-time" method:
1. Create a new audio track.
2. Open the Mixer and click on the "All" tab to see all channel strips and locate the Click channel (normally Inst 256). Set its Output from Stereo Out to an unused Bus. e.g. Bus 10.
3. Set the Input for new audio track you created to that bus, e.g. Bus 10.
4. Enable the Metronome (in the Transport Bar), record-arm the audio track and hit record.
That audio track will now record the click track in real-time. Once you're done you may wish to solo that audio track & bounce it so that start and end point match your project.
You can then send the bounced audio file to the drummer.
Hope this helps
