Is it possible to run iPhone apps such as moog filtatron into an audio or midi channel in logic and what do I need to be able to do so.

Yes, this is all possible. Take the audio output from your iPhone (the headphone jack output) and connect it to an input on your audio interface. You will then be able to record the audio into Logic. Make sure you have the correct tempon set in Logic. As for the MIDI, that depends on what iPhone applications you are using. SoundPrizm is able to do this if you have the Pro version. What other iPhone music apps are you using. I don't think Filtatron has Midi capabilities over wireless, OSC or Bluetooth.
