Time Compression / Expansion
Help...switched from Pro Tools to Logic recently and miss some features of Pro Tools... Most notably, the ability to compress an audio file. (I'm just recording cold voice) When doing a :30 commercial read that the client has given me :40 worth of copy, to be able to crunch that last second and a half is a godsend. How do I do it with Logic? Thanks

Hi, I think I understand your needs. In which case either snip the region and then option drag the right corner to time stretch it... I'd highly recommend checking out this tutorial: http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/logic9104 Or let us know if you require more help. R

Flex Time works great. Definitely try this route.
