    Flipping a Sample
What is everyone's else process of flipping a sample with logic. How do you slice or chop a sample inside of logic? Do you use the exs24 for all the samples? I also have a maschine and I am always torn between chopping in maschine and recording the midi into a daw or chopping in the daw. Which would you recommend?

Hi SheenHead, I use the EXS24. I find it works quite well. I am a fan of the 'Convert to New Sampler Track'. It will detect the transients in the sample and then lay these out over an EXS24 instrument. Or I will manually chop the samples in the Logic arrangement page. If I want finer details I will go into the Sample Edit Window.
