Logic Instability
Hello. I installed three demos from IZotope, Vinyl, Trash and Stutter, and then my entire Logic system became unstable, crashing hard whenever anything to do with midi was involved. In an effort to resolve the problem, I have contacted Izotope, and they have tried to help, but it's unclear where the issue is. I upgraded my OS to Lion, deinstalled and reinstalled Logic, upgraded Logic to version 9.1.7.... but the program keeps crashing!!! Any ideas on where to go from here?

try removing the aucomponent files and see if Logic behaves correctly. You will find them in either of the the following locations: Library > Audio > Plugins > Components Users > username > Library > Audio > Plugins > Components Find the iZotope plugins in here. For example the Stutter Edit file is called iZStutterEditAUHook.component. Delete these files. Then check how Logic is behaving.
