    Freezing Tracks
Someone once showed me a way to freeze the instrument on a track, but NOT freeze the fader and effects - unfortunately, I can't remember how he did it. Could you please enlighten me? Thanks, Tim

Hey Tim Sounds like you want a 'Source only' freeze. 1. Click the Freeze button in the track header. 2. In the track inspector find the Freeze Mode and change it to Source Only. Source Only: Freezes the track signal before it is fed into the first effect plug-in. Choosing this mode turns the Freeze button blue. The other option is Pre Fader: Pre Fader: Freezes the track signal including all effect plug-ins. Choosing this mode turns the Freeze button green. HTH Hamish
