The Quantize is set to 100%. When you start using the swing and Q-Swing percentage settings that is when you start changing the quantize percentage value. Take a look at these macProVideo Hub articles by Toby Pitman

Whoops my post didn't finish there. Here is the rest of the post: Take a look at these Darren Burgos and Toby Pitman Hub articles for more details on the Quantization features: http://www.macprovideo.com/hub/logic-pro/quantization-tips-logic-part-1 http://www.macprovideo.com/hub/logic-pro/logic-pro-quantization-tips-part-2 http://www.macprovideo.com/hub/logic-pro/logic-pro-quantization-tips-part-3 http://www.macprovideo.com/hub/logic-pro/logic-pro-get-creative-with-region-parameters Steve Horelick's Logic Master class video tutorial also covers these quantization settings: http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/logic9201

Hi Gary, Thanks for that, should keep me going! But I guess it does surprise me a bit that there seems to be no 'snap all regions to exact bar divisions' function in L9 - maybe coming in L10? Anyway, topic answered, Cheers!

Maybe simply your looped regions are not of quantized lenght. They have to be exactly 1 bar, 1/2 bar, and so on. Sometime working on piano roll makes the lenght slightly different. Even anchors moving in sample audio window can do it. The result is that after some bars your loops will be out of time, but on the arrange video they look right, because the lenght mistake is really small. http://www.soundcheckstudio.it

Thanks Matteo, I reckon that's exactly what it was. Let Constant Vigilance be our watchword! Cheers! Gurner
