    Importing Audio
I've exchanged Logic audio files for mixing with a friend who runs Cubase. He has given me files back in two formats: AIFF and Wav. Which is best to use in Logic? Also, am I better off creating a brand new project to import to or should I use an existing file to maintain the integrity of tempo and bar structure?

Hi MGA, Wav or Aiff files will be absolutely fine with Logic. When you or friend are bouncing out stems (tracks to audio files) I'd highly suggest you do so from the beginning of the project. i.e. choose the same start point for every audio track, so when the other person imports them into their DAW they'll line up correctly. Hope that helps Rounik

Thanks for the Wav/Aiff info. Yes, I found out the importance of exporting the whole track very early in the process.
