Sharing a song folder on dropbox
Hello I share a folder with a friend on dropbox, a file sharing website. When we open the song file on each others computers our 3rd party plug-in settings reset to zero, even though we saved the settings within the project. Is there a save project setting that I need to change? Jeff

The settings for the plugins are normally stored in the logic project file. Do you have some other 3rd party plugins you can try? Start a new project and use a different set of 3rd party plugins. Then share this project on dropbox folder and see if it does the same thing happens. Let us know if if still doesn't save the settings. I have shared Logic and Ableton projects with 3rd party plugins on Dropbox and haven't experienced this problem. So it is either the plugin, or the logic project file. You can always try saving out the Logic project as a new Logic file and see if the same thing happens.
