Logic Pro X File Browser Preview
Greetings, Anyone know if Logic X can preview regular .wav/.aif files in sync with the project tempo, similar to how pro tools, ableton live and cubase do it in their file browsers? I can not find this feature documented in any of the new literature. I find it hard to believe that Apple would still expect users to convert an audio file to either Apple Loop or Recycle formats before previewing a sample in sync with the project tempo. Especially given all the new workflow enhancements in LX.

Hi Earl, Looks like you're correct. Best I can see in the File Browser is to choose Audio File > Analyse audio file for Flex Editing You can, however, convert Recycle files directly to Apple Loops using the Gear menu in the Browser area.
