Logic X - channel rearranging, etc
Away from the studio for a few more days, haven't bought it yet - so I am wondering: The Stack Tracks - sounds great. When you assign these tracks to a subgroup-like 'stack', does it move/rearrange the channels in the mixer next to each other if they were separated? Also, can we finally drag channels in the mixer to where we want them regardless of if they are assigned to the arrange window, etc? Thanks Paul

Hey Paul, Yes, the Track Stack feature is great, and yes it will move the tracks together in the Mixer if they were separated (and it will hide them if you click on the disclosure triangle too). Unfortunately, no way to rearrange tracks in the Mixer. This feature is planned for Logic Pro XI ;) Cheers! Christian

What Christian said... and in addition, though you can't move channels directly in the Mixer... you can now select and move more than one track header in the Arrange Area (now called main window) !

Oh how I too wish that you could rearrange tracks in the mixer. :)
