Switching from GarageBand: Any tips/tricks/tutorials available?
Hi, I am a new member and love the logic video tutorials. the launch of Logic Pro X finally convinced me to switch from GarageBand to logic. Still I have some questions: 1) are there Any special tips and tricks or tutorials available for switchers from GarageBand ? 2) when importing songs from GarageBand to logic: is there anything I should pay attention to? 2) one main reason for switching is: I want to move parts/regions/settings from one song/project to another (which is not possible in GarageBand I think). How is this done in Logic? Just opening 2 songs and "dragging things around"? 3) one other reason: changing tempo within songs. This is covered in Steve H master class, isn't it? Global tempo track and so on ... Am I right? Greetings from austria!
