Splitting Stereo files
I have an stereo mp3 that has audio panned left and right in it. I need to split the stereo file and extract the panned audio into two mono tracks. I can't figure out how to do this in Logic Pro X. Any suggestions?

Re: Splitting Stereo files
Hi Thebhgroove and welcome to the mPV forums! :) One way to do this would be to import your MP3 file on a stereo track, then Control-Click the region and select Convert to new Audio File(s). In the Save Region As window, select Interleaved to Split (under Stereo Conversion) and click Save. You will then find the 2 mono files (Left and Right) in your Project Audio Browser. You could also bounce the whole project (with the MP3 track soloed) and choose Interleaved under File Type... I hope it helps! Christian
