Midi Controller for Logic
I have a microkorg I've been using to control midi info in logic but ever since I switched my old mbox interface to a duet and had to use a separate midi input box my midi has suffered. I get missed notes and sometimes notes that get stuck. As you can imagine it get's frustrating when composing. As I think it can be the korg, I was wondering which controller you guys recommend that maybe maps to Logic or I could easily assign faders and pads to some of Logic X's new features. Another question is can you send midi with just a usb cable into the mac mini? Would the performance be as good? Thanks

Hi Alex, Yes, sending MIDI via USB should be just as good. Most all MIDI controllers use USB these days :) There are so many MIDI Controllers to choose from... we've lots reviewed over at AskAudioMag.com too: http://www.askaudiomag.com/search/reviews/controller and we did a round up of our Top 10 from 2013 here too: http://www.askaudiomag.com/articles/best-of-2013-top-10-midi-controllers I'd recommend thinking about what features you want, e.g.: - number of keys - pads, buttons, rotary knobs, faders, - your budget Hope this helps, Rounik
