Problems downloading and viewing Chapters 3 & 4...
Hi guys, I received an email today saying that part 3 of the Logic 8 101: Mastering Logic 8 is now available for download. This download contains chapters 3 & 4. I launched N.E.D as required and selected the 'Update' button from the Tutorial Manager. It starts downloading for about 5 seconds then stops. There is then some writing that appears at the bottom of the Tutorial Manager window. The writing says "Logic 8 101: Mastering Logic 8: update co". The rest of the writing is hidden by the 'Update' and 'Stop' buttons (which are ghosted). When I launch the tutorial, videos 68-100 appear in NED but in red and with no tutorial duration time! When I search through the video folder where the videos are stored on my harddrive, there only appears to be videos 1-67. It looks like only the tutorial names have been downloaded but not the tutorial videos!! When I quit N.E.D and the Tutorial Manager and then re-launch NED, I get a message stating that there are tutorials waiting to be downloaded. When I select 'yes' to download videos (or even if I select 'no' and try to download manually), the same thing happens again. Please HELP!! Btw, I'm using N.E.D for Windows. The tutorial path is My Documents ---> My NED (which is the way it has always been). Thanks in advance for your help! Regards, Mo. p.s. for some reason, tutorials 1-9 now have a time duration of 00:00. They now cannot be played....

Hi Mo, You're not alone with these problems. I am experiencing exactly the same thing ... right down to Tutorials 1-9 no longer being playable also! Hope we hear of a fix soon. B.

The actual chapter files (1-9) are still on my hard drive fortunately, so hopefully it won't be too much of an issue to get them playable again. Are these problems only happening with NED on Windows, or is it happening with the Mac version also? B.

Well, look at that. Eps 1-9 are unplayable on my system as well. The duration of the episodes show zero. I looked in the package User/Documents/NED/Logic8101.prgm Control click - Show Package Contents The file .mov files ARE there but they're unplayable. macProVideo people? What do you think the problem is? How do we fix it?

[quote:8016]Well, look at that. The file .mov files ARE there but they're unplayable. [/quote] The .Mov files inside the package are unplayable with quicktime because they contains metadata.
