Pencil for new events in flex pitch mode
Hi forum, in the Logic Pro tutorial "Flex Pitch" there is a lesson "4. Creating New Note Events" where David Earl is doing some strange postioning with the pencil tool. I've watched it ten times and I don't understand why the blue line of his his pencil is not on the pencil but a bar behind his click. You can see it at minute 1:20 or have a look at my screenshot. The blue linie for positioning the cursor on my pencil is just where I'm clicking. By the way: That's what I would expect the pencil should do after a click. Can you help me? Hi there! When we were creating this video, Logic 10 wasn't even out of beta yet! Unfortunately, this turned out to be a bug, not a feature. We will be correcting the video with an annotation. In newer revisions of Logic 10, you simply click where you'd like note events to happen.

Also, when I create notes (as illustrated in this excellent tutorial), I often just get an empty blue box; I do not get a note (a squiggly line)... nothing I can do with that! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
