    Logic X and plug-ins
The error message I'm getting when opening a project that was originally started in Logic 9 using patches from Special Edition is "The plug-in named Vienna Instr" isn't available on your system" I am able to open Special Edition as a standalone and can play the patches and I just performed maintenance on my eLicenser, so I am not sure what to do next to get Logic to find my library.

Is the Vienna Instrument showing up in Logic's Audio Units Manager? And are you running Logic 9 in 32-bit or 64-mode. If in 64-bit mode, then maybe the Vienna plug-in isn't running in 64-bit mode. Make sure you're running the latest version of the plugin.

Thanks, Gary. Fortunately I solved this weeks ago.

I would have liked to have heard what your solution turned out to be.

At the time I thought I had just updated my Vienna software but it turned out I wasn't fully updated.
