Logic Pro X Won't Create Channel Strips
I'm recording e-drums from a TD-30 using Logic Pro X and External MIDI Tracks. Once I'm done with a session, I perform a 'Separate By Note Pitch' to get individual tracks for each drum pad. Problem is: It won't create any channel strips of each new track - Any ideas? Shouldn't Logic automatically create a Channel Strip for each newly created track?

I would first go to the record settings and see if you can set up your recordings to record following passes on separate on a new region or next track. You can select by using the keyboard in the piano roll editor and then use the list editor to change the channel and that way it might work. It's something you have to be doing to know exactly how but that's an idea.
