    Piano record Mastering.
I am trying to put my new piano record on a CD in a â??Wave burnerâ??. When I listen to it in the â??Wave burnerâ?? it sounds fine, how ever when I burn a CD, CD sounds a little distorted on some high notes and it sound like there is not enough â?? headroomâ?? in the mix. I did check for clipping and put some compression and limiter but it did not help. Any good advise ? Serg.

Hi Serg, I second what J.F says. It's surprising but burning at 4x is said by many to be much better for an audio CD's reliability than burning faster! Also, is your final file 44.1khz and 16bit. Burning a 24bit depth or higher than 44.1khz sample rate audio file to CD can cause distortion an audio CD doesn't support higher than 44.1 and 16bit. Cheers Rounik
