Hey everyone, For anyone using Logic, by far the most interesting booth at NAMM this year was Redmatica. They make a product that automatically configures EXS24 sample patches through simple drag and drop ... so no more tedious programing: [url]http://www.redmatica.com/Redmatica/Keymap.html[/url] But even cooler (IMHO) is their AutoSampler software ... you can hook up your MIDI synths, and AutoSampler will AUTOMATICALLY trigger the synths and create sample banks of all the patches on the synth, with full control over sample duration and velocity mapping ... really, really cool stuff: [url]http://www.redmatica.com/Redmatica/AutoSampler.html[/url] Anyway, click the links and check this stuff out ... if you are using the EXS24, these programs are worth the price!!

i made a post about the redmatica keymap product the other day asking if anyone tried it... did you actually get to try it? if so how was it?

I didn't get to try it myself, but I'm looking at buying a copy. The dude from Redmatica gave me a pretty comprehensive demo though ... looks really cool! To me though, that AutoSampler was the standout tool ... darn, wish I'd had that before I sold my last round of synths on ebay ...

I highly recommend you check out the videos on their website. KeyMap is aboslutely amazing, I know a few people that have been using it already and swear by it. It's a little pricey but it seems that it is TOTALLY worth it since it goes WAY deeper than any other EXS instrument editor.

Got it yesterday !!!!!!!! Essential purchase !!! And I have only skimmed the surface !!!! Sampling to the next level , very natural sounding results (auto-looping) ,still have to check the resynthesis algorythms. Wonder how I got by without it !!!! Essential for all ESX24 users or any other Samplers that accept ESX format.
