    Logic bounces to Waveburner
Hello, first timer here. Sorry if this has been asked but I can't find it in a forum search. I just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on whether it is best to use plug-ins at the master output stage in logic, or in waveburner, or if it is acceptable to use plug-ins at both stages. I'm talking about compression and limiter mostly: will my audio suffer for being double-compressed? I am using Logic Studio and getting to grips with waveburner for the first time. I have bought the waveburner tutorial but my query is not covered. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Fallenleaf Welcome to the forums! Hi, there may be many different answers for this as one of the main factors for consideration is the audio material you're working with and what result you want to achieve. In general I'd recommend not using heavy compression on your main output until the mastering stage and not using a limiter until you're ready to master. I hope others also post here to give their recommendations. Best Rounik
