    Re: cant bounce to itunes
Hi, I'll try to explain another way : Logic will bounce your project in the audio formats that are checked under "destination" (PCM, MP3, M4A: AAC, Burn: CDDA). If a destination is highlighted but not checked, Logic won't bounce in this destination file format. When you highlight a destination, the preferences will change in the panel at the right. The options are completely different for PCM, MP3, M4A: AAC, Burn: CDDA. For example, under PCM you can choose a file format (AIFF, WAVE, etc), a resolution (16 bits, 24 bits), etc. The preferences for MP3 are different : Bit Rate, Quality, etc. If a "destination" is highligted but not checked, the preferences will be greyed out. Tell me if you have more questions.

So why do they call that box "destination"? shouldnt it be called "bounce in this file format"? I still dont understand the point in having the highlight function? it doesnt do anything except let you see what preferences are available to you if you choose a different file format which, you can do by just ticking the box?

Hi again, It is called "destination" because it is the destination file format. The highlight function lets you go from one set of options to another. You could do it by clicking on the box but it would check / uncheck the box each time and that wouldn't be useful. Take care! Christian
