Re: Using Logic for live performance with sustained notes
Hi Eric - Assuming that the other notes from the Launchkey are transmitted on channel 1 [or some channel other than 10], here's what you can do: - Insert the Transformer in the screenshot below between the Physical Object and the first Transformer [Filter CC21 0] in the previous screenshot, and make the settings as shown in the pic - Select Use Map as the Operation under Velocity, but have that controlled from the Condition called Pitch [click on the little button above Use Map until it creates the control routing [blue line] shown] - In the Universal Map section, set the numerical value of each note [that corresponds to a pad] to an appropriate CC21 value. For example, C1 is Note # 36, so set 36 mapped to CC 1 [as shown] -- this will tell the Channel Switcher to switch to Ch1 when you tap the C1 pad - Continue for all the other pads, ie 37 mapped to 2, 38 mapped to 3, 39 mapped to 4, etc, for as many channel routings as you have set up in the Channel Switcher Everything else would be the same as in the original patch [previous screenshot]. That should do it..
