Mainstage channel strips
Hi everyone/Rounik, I want to trigger Ultrabeat sequences that I made in Logic via my MIDI Controller via Mainstage, but I'm not quite sure how to get the Ultrabeat sequences into Mainstage from Logic? Is that even possible, or do I have to build/make the Ultrabeat sequences within Mainstage itself? Thanks a lot. Jodie

Hi Jodie, It's not a problem as Mainstage and Logic save and load the channel strip settings and instruments settings form and to the same location. This means you can create your own Ultrabeat kit in Mainstage or Logic and as long as you save it as a channel strip setting or an instrument setting you will be able to load it up in the other! Cheers Rounik p.s. So, how is your MIDI Controller then?

Hi Rounik, OK, so what you're saying is that I have to "SAVE the CHANNEL STRIP SETTING or INSTRUMENT SETTING" and then I can call it up in either Logic or Mainstage???? OK, I'll try that now. Thanks man. Jodie p.s. Well, I've decided to buy the Edirol PCR-300 (32 keys) because I'm not a keyboard player; I just wanna trigger stuff via a MIDI Controller, so I'll be getting out my VISA card this week or next:)

Yeah, I'm also very interested in MainStage tutorial and I even suggested it in the "TNT suggestions and ideas" section of this forum. So I hope Martin et el. will decide to do it. That would be awesome. Cheers Gabe

Hi Gabe, Do please add your voice to the Mainstage thread in the "Suggested Training" sub-forum: http://www.macprovideo.com/forum/general/suggested-training&id=10231 It will definitely be noted there! Cheers Rounik
