Hi Jodie, It doesn't look like you can map the channel strips / patches to the Musical Keyboard. It will only allow you to play notes/patterns and alter the octave and velocity. Are you still having problems with the PCR and loops not stopping?

Hi Gary, OK, but how does the musical keyboard know that you want the patterns in UB's step sequencer to trigger if you haven't mapped that particular channel strip? Yeah, the .wav files that I made in Logic and then imported into Mainstage via UB's Drag & Drop Samples setting are still not stopping after I trigger them. They play through the entire 32 steps until the end. That one really has me stumped????????????? Thanks always Gary. Jodie

Hi Jodie, Check your Envelope Settings on Ultrabeat. Envelope 4 deals with the Amp ADSR. Try shortening the Sustain and Release nodes. You can tailor this so that only a snippet of the sample plays back. [/quote] You don't need to map the Musical Keyboard to any channel strip. When you select the different channel strips the Musical Keyboard will be assigned to that channel strip. Hope this helps.
