    MacBook Pro firewire video interface
Can anyone recommend me a video interface fireware 800 or 400, at a price not too high, which to work with ProTools, because fireware 400 is occupied with the FWx Option Card(audio interface) of my D-Show Profile. On my MackBook Pro. However, I can use a 8 pin to 6 pin fireware converter. Thanks.

Rolando, I am not sure exactly what you are try to do, but I usually import a quick time movie into protools and then edit or compose audio and music to the video. Then you can export your audio and put it back into the master video. If you need a way of getting video on to your mac, you can use a video converter. Apple store and macconnetion have a variety of units the are relatively inexpensive. Here is one similar to the one I have: http://store.apple.com/us/product/TS561LL/A?fnode=MTY1NDExOA&mco=MjQzMzY2NQ Hope this helps. Cush
