Audio Recording & Editing in Studio One
Joshua Carney has released the companion course to his "Studio One MIDI Recording & Editing" course -- "Studio One Recording & Editing Audio" offers Studio One 5 users the same kind of in-depth look at working with audio in that popular DAW, from recording instruments, to tuning and editing vocals, and much more.. The course begins with creating and setting up a new song from scratch. It covers sample rate, resolution, block size, latency and other important settings and concepts, and then moves on to various ways to import audio and loops and make everything conform to your song's tempo. There's a section on how to record a song by adding and overdubbing different instruments: acoustic & electric guitars, bass, vocals and multi-tracked acoustic drums. And of course the course includes a thorough look at the editing tools, punching, comping, and tuning features, quantizing audio, adding effects, exporting -- all of the audio features in Studio One 5. So for Studio One 5 users who want their audio skills to be as good as their MIDI skills, here's the course that can make it happen.
