DVD STUDIO PRO - PROBLEM reading the Burnt dvd on a dvd player
Hello. I'm finishing a DVD master with DVD studio Pro 4.2.1 before i send it to the replicator DVD-9 7.7Gb used I use: DVD+R DL Verbatim 8X Project DSP: SD DVD PAL / DUAL OTP Break point automatic then choosen between the 2 markers proposed by DSP at the format etap (chap 21) seamless unable This is a 6 menus, 1h42m film with 4 subtitles streams, bonus cut scenes, 3 teasers, 3 bonus video, 3 slideshows (photos, script, visual). Everything ok when simulating in DSP Build ok, no error message Format ok, no error message (i burn withc pioneer dvd-RW DVDR-111D on a DVD+R DL 8X Verbatim) DVD-R simulation mode unable lossless linking unable When the DVD is burnt, i can easily read it on MAC, PC but it doesn't work on a dvd player: after a very long loading, it writes "INVALID" I tried to burn the VIDEO and AUDIO TS files from DSP ( after build) with toast: 1/ VIDEO TS + AUDIO TS in VIDEO, VIDEO TS FOLDER, SPEED X4 2/VIDEO TS (without the file ".layout") + AUDIO TS, in DATA, DVD-ROM (UDF), SPEED X4 Same thing, ok son MAC and PC, "INVALID" dvd player. I also tried with a DVD-R DL 4X, DVD-R simulation mode checked lossless linking checked ok on Mac, not so good on PC, "invalid" on dvd player. I also burnt with format interface half of the project on a DVD+R 4.7GB 16X. The dvd player can read it... Of course, i don't have a full acess, some video are not avaible, the main film is cut on its 3/4. For the film, 1h42m: EDITING FCP 6.0.6 EXPORT via COMPRESSOR 3.0.5 preset apple DVD best quality 90 min Dolby Digital professional 2.0 192kbps (ac3) MPEG-2 two pass VBR best (m2v) I increased a little bit, 6.8LMbps/8Mbps - 4.73Gb SYSTEME MAC OS X 10.5.8 Processor 2X2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon Memory 7GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM 1/Is my encodage to high ? 2/Do i have a structure problem at the authoring level? Checked options problem at the build and format etap ? Thanx for your help! Thierry
