Audio Filters
Does anyone have a good solution to get rid of some wind noise using the filters in FCP X ? I used a shot gun mic ( rode ) and the dialogue is strong but I would like to cut down on some of the wind noise that's getting thru

Depends what frequency the wind noise is at. Personally, I'd recommend using a tool like iZotope RX for advanced noise removal. Works very well for all different sorts of problematic noises.

First try the Noise Reduction built in to FCPX. But if it is too messy for that to deal with, and before the money for iZotope RX, check out SoundSoap. Had recently been updated to work as an FCPX plugin, and is really effective.
