    Apple loops..format?
    Hi there ;]..thinking of buying Apple loops..they are available in both aiff and optional Wav format..is it true that Wav files cant be used in Garageband?i want to use the loops in both Garageband and pro tools..so im not sure which format to purchase.i also know that to use aiff apple loops.i have to first record tracks in garageband before i can import them to pro tools!thanks...Declan

    Hi Declan, Apple Loops (with the meta data that can be read by Logic and Garageband to allow the loop to match to tempo or be transposed) are only available in Aiff and now CAF format. Wav files are not & can not be Apple Loops. If you want the loops to match the tempo of your compositions in GB then you need to purchase the Apple Loops version which'll be in Aiff. Cheers Rounik
