    edits etc
hi again, the last tune I did I has a little skip thing at about 58 second mark. Dont know why. Lots of "dont know why" stuff in DAWs. anyway I tried holding down the trackpad and doing the cut and paste thing but it didnt work. Do you have to use a mouse to get results..??I have seen stuff like that happen in Reaper. Also my first project would start to playback as soon as I hit the space bar and then start at the beginning when I hit it again.. I must have done something cause now with the 2nd tune it plays when I hit the space bar but it just resumes from that place instead of starting at the beginning... whats up with that?

Hi - Not sure what you mean by "a little skip thing".. If you mean a playback glitch, well, sometimes that may happen at the beginning of a Region; if you mean that GB is actually skipping a section, well, Logic has a function where the Cycle Ruler can be set to do that deliberately by setting the Cycle zone by dragging backward—AFAIK GB does NOT have that feature, but maybe it's lurking in the underlying code (which GB shares with Logic)—try turning off or resetting the Cycle Ruler. AFAIK you should be able to do anything with a Trackpad that you can do with a mouse—check the Trackpad settings in System Preferences; note: there's a GB Preference (General) "Enable Force Touch Trackpad"—maybe check that out as well? Regarding where playback starts: This depends on the Cycle Ruler (the yellow ruler bar, see screenshot)—when it's off, playback starts at the position of the Playback cursor; when it's on playback always starts at the beginning of the Cycle Ruler. If you had the Cycle Mode on and set to start at Bar 1, you'd see the former behavior; with it off you'd see the latter behavior. The video below shows some additional very useful functionality for the Cycle Ruler (Takes and Comping)..

Will GB show it as 2 tracks??? thanks again

Hi - Since none of these questions actually fit the thread topic (editing) I'm going to break the post up into different threads. In general please create a new thread for each different topic—it'll help anyone in the future who's searching the Forum to find posts on similar issues and other potentially useful information.. :-)
