I'm trying to download more instruments for GarageBand, but no matter how I phrase my Google search, all the plugins I download end up looking like a board with a ton of knobs. I'm not looking for this weird knobby thing. I'm looking for actual EDM instrument plugins so I can create modern sounds, because GarageBand's EDM instruments (like Festival Lead and Screamlead) are very retro/2010s. How can I make my sounds modern? What instrument pack like this am I looking for? What the heck are all these knobs because they don't make my sounds very different nor are they creating that modern instrument sound I'm looking for. I'm not really an EDM guy myself so I can't advise you, but I'll link this thread to one of our GarageBand/EDM courses—maybe that'll attract the attention of some of our EDM gurus.. :-)

Just bumping this. Turns out, figuring out the knobby thing is what I need to do. In that case, does anyone have any pre-set ideas I can use for making my synths sound like the one in the above linked track?
