    Garageband help
Hello, everyone and thanks for reading. I have what is hopefully an easy/quick fix. So I have an old video of my band from way back in the day which was recorded on a camcorder prior to all the fancy technology that is available today.. The audio has always only come out of the left headphone/speaker. I've been able to upload the video into GarageBand and I'm trying to get the audio to come through both headphones/speakers. Is there a workaround to get that to happen? Thanks!

Hi - If the audiofile in question is playing back in GB and coming out of only one speaker, while other tracks in the session are playing out of both speakers, then try the following: - First, check the Pan knob (LR), to the right of the volume slider in the Movie Track header -- make sure it's @ center [ 12 o'clock ] If that's not it.. - Hit "B" to open the Smart Controls pane at the bottom - Under Track, hit the triangle next to Plug-ins to see the insert slots - Insert a Direction Mixer plug-in [ Imaging > Direction Mixer ] - When it opens turn the Spread slider to 0 [ zero = mono|centered ]
