Forget FCPX... Post some Avid Tutorials!
...Well, you don't have to forget about FCPX for the kids out there who want to make Youtube videos and non-professional content, they ARE a viable market for FCP tutorial vids by you guys. But since the Pro industry is by-and-large ditching Apple for a while (in terms of FCPX,) I'm seeing more & more colleagues and clients just going with the number one choice for professional editors which is Avid. Many people are scared by Avid because it is a program that assumes you are a professional who understands some of the science that goes along with the art. Avid is a tool that doesn't sugar-coat anything. It doesn't make up it's own rules and screw you over when there's a deadline looming. It's a power-house. And their sales are going up as we speak. Now would be a great time to put out some Avid MC5 vids... Just a suggestion.

yes, Please post some Avid Media Composer tutorials. It would be good to go through workflows for the various formats, like XDCAM , AVCHD, H264, some of the more common formats now.
