A big letter

Can I change settings here so, that automatically the big letter appears in the beginning of new sentence? Like on my cell phone.

In Apple menu > System Preferences > Keyboard > Text there are options for that -- however on my system "Capitalize Words Automatically" is enabled there but the text entry boxes in this Forum still don't do it, so I guess the answer is no.
