    'Muffling' sounds
Hi, I have recently made the move from Reason over to Logic Pro 8 and am trying to achieve that 'muffled' sound often heard in dance music when a sound is filtered in or out. I used to do it through Reason's NN19 Sampler by pulling down the Res/Frequency sliders but haven't been able to find a quick solution in Logic. I tried the auto Filter but didn't have much luck. Thanks

Hi, You mean a tradionnal low pass filter sweep ? You can control Filter and Resonance in all the the Logic software instruments. You can also automate the lowpass filter of the channel EQ like Martin Sitter does in the Core Logic 101 tutorial. Tell me if you need more help! Christian
