    record path to another drive
Hey Guys Is it a good strategy to have the logic application located on one Hard drive, and your recorded tracks files etc... recorded to another hard drive? If so how do I do it properly? Jeff

Hi Jeff, When you open a new project save as... to the external HD. Logic will then record to that external HD project folder. Cheers Rounik

I'm wondering about other internal drives - I want to dedicate one drive to Logic songs (projects) The hard drive that has all of my applications on it is 160GB and is getting full then I have a 500GB hard drive that I would like to dedicate to Logic songs I've heard this to be a good strategy for keeping logic speedy, or do I move my Logic application to another hard drive? what is the best scenario? I have 4 internal drives at my disposal 160GB - operating system and applications 500GB - logic 500GB - movies 750GB - for Backups jeff

The Logic Application should stay on your main Internal Drive! You can copy your Logic projects to the 500GB HD. Then whenever you start a new project remember to save it to that drive. You could also move your apple loops library and EXS24 sample instruments to another HD - but the benefits IMHO would be marginal... Cheers Rounik
