External Midi through IAC and LAN on 2 Macs
I decided to start a new topic, even though my question here results from my previous need to use the resources of my second Mac. What I have: Two macs, both running Logic. They are connected through LAN I want to send MIDI through IAC or ipMidi and LAN from Mac1 to Mac2, have that MIDI data play an instrument on Mac2 (Kontakt), then send the audio back to Mac1 using Wormhole. What do I do? I enabled IAC on both Macs, I created a new external instrument on Mac1 and chose IAC Port 1 Channel 1. What do I do on Mac2 to make it happen? I tried creating a soft instrument, loaded Kontakt, then created a new Multi instrument on the environment, set the port to IAC and connected to the Kontakt instrument. But I get nothing. I tried playing around at the Clicks and Ports section, but I guess I'm doing something wrong. Help?

Hi Ben Before we get deep into this subject. Have you tried using the second Mac as a Node? I think it might work well for you...? Thanks Rounik

Morning Rounik, Lets dive into this! Nodes will only use my second computer's CPU, not RAM, and I think I have enough CPU power to run this project on the 8 core.
