First off, I this is my first post on the forum. I originally purchased the Environment tutorial back in 2006. :-) Anywho, I am a subscriber and am curious to find out if the current Core Logic tutorial is for Logic 9. After watching just a second of it, I noticed that it the version of Logic being used is 8, not 9. I just don't want to start watching the tut. and then l8r find an updated version. Thanks so much ~maeghan

yeah its 9 but not much has changed between 8 and 9 so there wasn't any point making a new tut from scratch. The 'flex time' tutorial is real good and all about that function in Logic 9, then there's a logic 9 overview that talks about all th eother new features eg notes and bounce in place etc etc. its also really good

Sweet, thank you! That's what I figured, i just wanted to make sure. I plan on taking the Logic certification test so I am going to sit down and watch it with a pencil and notebook in hand. :-)

If you plan on getting certified, I'd recommend you buy David Nahmani's book. It is the official tutorial for Logic Level 1 certification. By all means, get the Logic 101 vids, but you might want to do a search for David at Amazon.com. No, I don't receive any kickbacks from Dave for recommending his book. He's a good guy, though, and his Logic 8 book is well laid out, and gets you actively involved in the learning process from the first chapter. Glenn
