CD Burning in Logic 9 or WaveBurner?
I have crossfaded two wave files and I want to put them, along with several other tunes on a CD. I want the two crossfaded tunes to play continuously but I want them to be on the CD as two individual tracks with their own listings and numbers, so they could be selected individually. Any tips on how to do this? Thanks, John

Hi John, Probably the easiest way to create two tracks and fade between them is to import the tracks individually into Waveburner and then position them as needed to create a crossfade. Logic can only burn the current project to a CD. Waveburner can burn a collection of audio files with track markers and create gaps or no gaps and plenty more ! Cheers Rounik

Thanks Rounik, I've been reading up and viewing the tutorials on WaveBurner since I posted this question. What I'm dealing with is someone else's project and the crossfading has already been done and they've given me the two songs as a single .wav file. They want this to burn to a CD as two tracks. I see in the WB manual that you can turn a region into multiple tracks but I can't find out how to accomplish this. John

Hi John, Personally I'd split the file into two regions in Logic and bounce each one as a separate file, then import them into Waveburner. Logic is more suited for close up and personal editing. Waveburner is great for mastering and preparing for CD. :) Rounik

Thanks Rounik, I ended up importing the file directly into WB, zoomed in and cut it and it gave me the two tracks playing seamlessly which was exactly what I was after. This is an amazing program. I can't wait to format my next CD! Cheers, John

Hi John, In Wave burner you could just add markers with text. i use this sometimes if i want to make a continuous mix of several songs but want to see the track text for each song on my CD player. I bought the WB Tutorial and i must say i found it very informative. i use WB all the time now for burning and compiling albums.WB is a great program that some people seem to over look. Mtec
