    58 random arpeggiators TNT1 Feb 08
why doesn't the arpeggiator kick in the first time through the cycle? Steve says it's because his "start of song marker isn't set right"- 5:03 in to the video. I set the cycle range to the exact size of the midi region and it does it to me too. My midi region is in the middle of the song so I don't think the start of song marker has anything to do with it. I can't figure out why it won't arpeggiate the first time, but it will all the other times. Doesn't a cycle range play the exact same thing every time? weeeeeird.

Hi Tieg, Try positioning the first note event a tiny bit after the bar/beat. It can happen sometimes that Logic can miss the first note. I usually start playback from just before the cycle region (or region start point) and then let it cycle. Cheers Rounik

I tried moving it 13 frames (is that the word?) over. it still didn't work. I'm sure it would work if I scooted it over more, but i guess it's just a bug that logic misses the first beat.

If your project starts at Bar 1, try moving that to Bar 5 instead... Can make a difference sometimes! :) Rounik
