This seems to be a newbie question that until now I was not aware of it's existence. I have a midi note that starts at bar 1 and ends at bar 3 I start playing from bar 2 but hear no sound as there is no midi note on command. I thought that was inevitable and I used to always start playback at bar 1 to hear the audio, until I went to my colleague yesterday and saw that he was playing from bar 2 and the virtual instrument played the note! How do I set it up in Logic that it will play the Midi, even if I am at bar 2?

It's called 'Chase' Notes. Go to: Settings > MIDI > Chase and make sure the 'Notes' checkbox is ticked. :) Rounik
