Greetings MacPro Users, I am a beginner with logic pro 9 and would like to know how I could score with notation via my guitar. I currently have the Appogee One interface and was wondering if i could use it as well to notate parts in music notes. If there is way that it can be done with some other interface I would love to learn how its done! Thanks for your help, Bobby B

Hi Bobby B, Welcome to the forums! Aside from writing the notation manually after recording the audio, I would recommend a Guitar to MIDI Interface. Something like the Axon AX100 mkii or the Roland GI-20 should do the trick. It will convert the guitar notes you play into MIDI note events (just like if you play a MIDI Keyboard), which can be viewed in the Piano Roll, Event List, Hyper Editor and Score Editor! You can then trigger any of Logic's (or 3rd party) Software Instruments directly using your guitar. Hope that helps Rounik
