Have been doing tutorial 101 and the control up/down/left right arrow on my keyboard doesnt work as a key command for zooming in and out vertically/horizontally. is there something i need to change on my computer in order to have key commands work?

Try clicking in the arrange area first. Does that help?

Hi Apple changed a couple of the standard key commands in a Logic update. Due to Spaces being assigned Control + arrow keys, Logic's standard zoom controls are: Control + Option + arrow keys. You can turn off Spaces (or change it's key commands in System Preferences) and then alter the KC's for Zoom in Logic: Option + K (to open Logic's Key commands window). Cheers Rounik
