Strip Silenced, now I want to revert to original
Hi All, I make mountains out of molehills it seems. I strip silenced some guitar tracks a few weeks back and wasn't real happy with the results. I wanted to revert back to that original take. Is there an easy way to do that? Should I just go to the bin and see if I can find the original tracks or is there some fancy key strokes that will lead me back to what I had when I first started playing with that feature? I use Logic 8 express. Thanks!

Hi Jrod, No problem... Strip silence splits the original audio region in your arrange area into separate regions... not separate files. Remember also, that a region in the Arrange simply references or displays the original audio file... it isn't, itself, the original audio file. If you open the Bin in the Media area you should find your original audio file sitting happily there. Then drag it back into the Arrange area. Hope that helps Rounik
