Bad loop auditioning at any setting but 44.1
Hi folks. I just upgraded to 9 recently, and discovered this little bug, which took hours on the phone with various Apple helpers to get an answer (the first 3 calls offered no real help, just the usual honing in methods for finding a possibly offending piece of gear, deleting prefs, etc.). Here's what happens: when going to the loop browser to audition sounds, clicking any loop makes it play, but it plays out of sync. It sounds like 90 percent of each loop plays correctly, but the final 10 percent plays jerkily, as if trying to get back to the start point too quickly. When the loop is dragged into the arrange window, it plays perfectly, just not in the auditioning process. The 4th Apple helper had the answer, as he had already encountered this issue. He suggested that setting my projects to 44.1 would fix it, which worked. I tried a couple of test projects at that rate, but I usually work at 48, and I've been looking at using higher rates for some projects. Anyhow, he said it's a bug that Apple will be dealing with, but who knows how long that might take?

Hi Sammy, Yes, It's a well known bug and the only way I've found to resolve it is to switch the sample rate of the project to 44.1... not great, and hopefully it'll be resolved in the next update... :) Rounik
