Default Setting of plugins in Logic 9...
Hi! In the Logic 406, Olav show us how to change the default setting for the channel EQ. Since I upgraded to Logic 9, I am not able to change my default setting, and I am not able to find any folder named Channel EQ other than my user folder. Where Logic is loading the factory settings from? Thanks! Martin

Hi Martin Welcome to the forums! So it sounds like you might have gone into your Home folder (user account's) Library location - when you need to go to the Global (Factory setting) Library location. Go to: HD/Library/Application Support/Logic/Plug-in Settings/Channel EQ/ NOT: HD/Users/*Your Home Folder*/Library/ etc... Hope this helps Rounik

This is exactly what I was looking for. Now why spotlight didn't find it when I look for "Channel EQ" or "#default.pst" ? Is there an option to activate to make it search in all locations?

The Mac OS is designed to hide the existence of certain folders and files (grrrrr!). This is why a spotlight search won't reveal certain files known to exist. Same situation with the "Go To Folder..." function in the finder. You may know for 1000% sure that a folder with such-and-such a name exists, but that function will acknowledge its existence. I think this is done as a kind of "safety" feature but it can be aggravating as all getout for people who do know what they're doing or what they're after. If you need to access these folders often, drag them into the sidebar (I think that's what it's called) of a Finder window so that you can easily access them in the future.
