How do I cut most precisely an mp3?
i am using magnifying tool and playhead, isn't there something better? Also, I am using fade in and fade out. How much do I calibrate to fade in nicely. Also, the fade out is not giving me a calibration but x, etc. choices. Which one do I choose? The fade out doesn't gray out either. Your help is appreciated. Roz

How are you creating your fades? The easiest way is to press Esc 0. This will change your pointer tool to the Fade Tool. Now you can draw in the fade in and fade outs on your audio file. If you hod the fade tool near the handles/ends of the audio file you will notice that you can shorten or lengthen the fades. You can also change the curve of the fade.
