Problems with editing audio from a QuickTime movie and exporting
Okay, so I created a video in iMovie, transferred that movie file to QuickTime, pasted the QuickTime mov file into Logic 9 and proceeded to edit the audio file as usual (changed audio track from mono to stereo, added some reverb). Next, I saved the project and exported the newly edited audio file back to my original QuickTime movie. I played the new QuickTime movie to make sure the edited audio file transferred, and it did. However, when I go to my Logic project folder and play the aif file (just the audio track not the video/audio QuickTime movie) in iTunes or any other music player, the track is not edited at all. The audio is still in mono and the reverb is not applied... Why are my changes not saving to the aif file? I also want to mention when I post the QuickTime movie (mov file) onto YouTube it uploads in mono even though the actual video plays in stereo on my computer. I am really baffled by this because I created a video just a month ago, edited it Logic, uploaded it on YouTube and had zero problems. The issues above are completely new to me. All advice is welcome! I'm so desperate to fix this problem. :( Thank you.

Re: Problems with editing audio from a QuickTime movie...
Hi Michelle, Can you give us some more details on what export options you used when you exported the audio from Logic back to the movie make sure under channels it was set to stereo. When you say you play back the audio in Logic and its not edited, what do you mean? Is it the effects that you applied that you cannot hear. make sure the effects are not bypassed. With the reverb did you add it as an insert or as a send? And make sure that the output channelstrip in Logic is set to stereo not mono. It should have two joined circles below the volume meter, and the volume mettr should have two strips depicting the stereo.
