Independent Solo & Mute Options (Missing in Logic X)?
Hi Guys & Gals, Spending some up close and personal time tonight with Logic X. Going pretty well, for the most part. Certainly (and, understandably) there are some new conventions that it will take a little time to get used to. But, all in all it the learning curve is pretty comfortable. However, on another note, it appears the CPU-saving mode has been removed from the Audio Preferences, which allows independent soloing and muting (regions, tracks, channel strips). FYI, I use this all the time, having solo and mute discrete. Perhaps they moved this option to some other place. But, I can't for the life of me (presently) figure out where. It would be a major drag (for me) if indeed it has been removed. Any thoughts, insights? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'd like not to lose that function. Thanks in advance for you help... Pen

The power button on the tracks now acts as the CPU saving mode for each track. It'll take the track offline to save processing resources. If you can't see the power button right click on a track and choose Configure Track header, and tick On/Off under Buttons.
